About Linked Data

The Web enables the link of related documents. Similarly it enables the link of related data. The term Linked Data refers to a set of best practices for connecting structured data on the Web.

Publishing Linked Data provides an easier way to developers to connect information from different sources, resulting in new and innovative applications.

Key technologies that support Linked Data are URIs (a generic means to identify entities or concepts in the world), HTTP (a simple yet universal mechanism for retrieving resources, or descriptions of resources), and RDF (a generic graph-based data model with which to structure and link data that describes things in the world).

  • Format: A series of different formats for your results
  • Execution timeout: The milliseconds that the query will timeout. Many times queries may take a long time to provide results, thus it is preferred to optimize your queries and not to set the Execution timeout to longer than a few minutes
